Giving with clarity

Donation Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

Let Hope Rise Gaza is an independently operated humanitarian initiative and is not presented as a registered charity. Donations are not represented as tax-deductible. Please consult your own adviser if you need guidance about tax treatment.

Who processes donations

PayPal donations are received and processed by Payton Gray, the initiative’s authorized payment recipient, on behalf of Let Hope Rise Gaza. The PayPal account name may therefore differ from the initiative’s public name. Card donations are completed on the Stripe-hosted page linked by the initiative. PayPal and Stripe apply their own terms and privacy practices.

How funds are intended to be used

Donations support the relief purpose described on the website and in individual appeals, including:

  • food and fresh produce;
  • clean drinking water;
  • hygiene and cleaning supplies;
  • essential medicines and urgent community needs; and
  • reasonable delivery, transfer, purchasing, and project costs needed to carry out the relief work.

Changing conditions

Conditions, prices, access, and family needs can change quickly. A donation cannot always be matched to a specific item or family. When the original use becomes impractical, funds may be redirected to a closely related and urgent humanitarian need. We aim to explain material changes in our updates.

Fees and currencies

PayPal, Stripe, banks, payment networks, or currency services may apply processing, withdrawal, or conversion fees. The amount available for relief may therefore be lower than the amount sent. Donors are responsible for reviewing the recipient, currency, amount, and any fees or exchange rates shown before confirming payment.

Refund requests

If you made a payment in error or believe it was unauthorized, contact us promptly. Requests are reviewed individually, subject to the applicable payment processor’s rules and whether the funds have already been transferred, committed, or spent on relief. A refund cannot be guaranteed.

Records and transparency

We aim to document distributions with appropriate records such as photographs, receipts, videos, and delivery summaries while protecting the privacy and safety of the people served.
